Its organizer calls it the only event dedicated to the Mediterranean and adjoining seas. It brings together cruise line executives and itinerary planners, ports and destinations, shore excursion and tour operators, shipyards and terminal suppliers for a conference and an exhibition.
The 2026 Edition: Las Palmas
The 2026 show took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in Spain’s Canary Islands. Seatrade Cruise News reported revised dates of September 16–17, 2026, and noted that the event was held inside the working cruise port at Muelle de Santa Catalina, the first time the show had been staged in an operational cruise terminal. The organizer’s site lists 224 exhibitors and conference sessions on topics such as year-round cruising and the growth of small ships. The Seatrade Cruise Awards are also part of the event.
The Canary Islands are a fitting host. They are a busy winter cruise region in their own right and a stepping stone for transatlantic repositioning voyages between Europe and the Caribbean.
The Next Edition
Seatrade Cruise Med runs every other year. According to Seatrade Cruise Med’s official site, the next edition is scheduled for September 2028, with the location to be announced.
